This course is on environmental justice (EJ). Students would begin by learning about the history of the EJ movement and examine activist work for EJ nationally and globally. Then, students would research historical and present EJ issues in the Mid-Atlantic. The final 2 days of the course would be dedicated to each student creating a project of their choice to communicate an EJ issue in the region.
