Learn Robotics

Ever wanted to learn how robots work and how to design your own? This one week introductory course in robotics will explore the basics of mechanical engineering, wiring up motors, and basic programming as we use Legos to build working robots. When finished, students will be primed to build their own contraptions or become a part of a competitive Lego robotics team.

3D Modeling and CAD

From rapid prototyping to finished product, 3D modeling and 3D printing are an easy way to take your ideas and make them real. This one week course will start with the basics of 3D design and how to use a 3D printer. Students will learn both basic and advanced 3D modeling and CAD programs, allowing them to create anything they can think up. They’ll even be able to take home some of their creations at the end of the week.

Hopper Robotics Bootcamp

Let’s build a robot. Hopper Robotics Bootcamp is designed to prepare you for the wonderful world of competitive robotics. This two-week course will focus on everything from brainstorming, designing, building, wiring, and maybe even a little coding to get the robot moving. Students will get first-hand experience with the various machines used to prototype a robot, as well as how to put it together. By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to join Hopper Robotics.

Learn to Program
- STEM
Learn the basics of programming with this week-long course. From variables to loops, conditionals to classes, this class will give you a foundation in coding so you can start making the computer work for you. This course will be taught in Python, but will focus on the fundamentals of programming, so the skills you learn here can be easily transferred to any language.
