Join us in the studio to learn about the exciting world of wheel-thrown pottery! Guided every step of the way, campers will learn to make functional works of art like plates, bowls, mugs, vases, and more. Along with plenty of hands-on time in the studio, we’ll take a field trip to explore inspiring ceramic art around DC and learn how clay comes to life outside of the studio. At the end of the week, campers will paint, decorate, and glaze their masterpieces, which will be ready for pick-up the following week. This camp is perfect for creative kids who love to make with their hands, explore new skills, and collaborate with others. No prior pottery experience needed—just bring your imagination and get ready to play with clay!
